Tools of the trade – Online marketing programs
Adbrite

They serve ads like prety much everyone in their own words :
adBrite uses a “second-price” auction pricing model. It’s just like winning an auction on eBay®. Say you bid $100 for a pair of shoes. Let’s also say that the bidding only goes up to $65. On eBay, you win the auction and the shoes and end up paying just $65.01. That’s how adBrite’s pricing works, only you win ad impressions, not shoes.
Adwords

Advertising there can be from very targeted and costly to not targeted and very cheap basicaly you can pay from 2 cents to 1 $ or even 45$ for some expensive key words. But they have enourmas restrictions on how ads could look
Buy sell Ads

Probably the best place for a targeted ad. Once you register you can choose the desired website to advertise in check the wbesite content, statistics, followers, fans, subscribers ect. Check if your desired banner space is free and go for it. Mostly ads are buyed for 1 month and not per 1000 impressions.
Bidvertiser

Yes bidvertiser, as from our experience it's widly used (from our point of view) for cheating from our tests the results were : impressions 112,510 clicks 182 and average time on site 2 seconds, so obviously if someone clicks an ad because he is interested he will spend atleast 20-30 seconds to see the content of interest.
Adigniter

Not fully developed as we can see but looks promising. Doesnt support the full range of banner sizes yet but it's getting better and better every day so thubs up.
